My last Christmas card of the season.....

Good morning everyone! 

Today I'd like to share the last Christmas card I made this season.

I made this using the image I designed using the 

Christmas Exhibition as well as the pine branch images I found at Graphic's Fairy.

The star image is from My Artistic Adventures HERE.

The doily piece and the scalloped tag below were cut with my Cameo.

I added glitter to the image I designed as well as to the star and Merry Christmas sentiment.

I used brushed corduroy distress ink on the edges of all my papers. 

The polka dot paper and the Merry Christmas are from a 

MME paper pkg titled Merry

Finishing off I added some fiber yarn under my image and a poinsettia.

Birthday cards...

Good morning all!

Today I have a couple of cute cards I made for my granddaughters! 

Their birthday was a few weeks ago

They are twins but not identical so I made a couple of cards that 

are twins as well

but not identical! 

The background papers were both designed 

by my dear friend,

My BOLB,

Heather!

The tags are also from Heather! 

You can find the one here!

The other one I could not find the tag itself in her Etsy store but I did find the paper piece that you can cut your own tag with here

or 

if you are still working on holiday pieces there are these tags here which have the same music note background but with the addition of holly leaves and berries...

I have to get this set myself...

love those holly leaves & berries!

I used distress inks on everything

broken china, worn lipstick & brushed corduroy.

The little girls playing image and the number 8 image are from an old paper pack.

I don't remember which one,

all I have left are bits and pieces!

I added a doily, cut on my Cameo...

a couple of flowers, some glitter and some twine to finish.

Snowman Christmas card

Hi everyone!

I haven't done much coloring in the past year but I've been having fun with 

Gecko Galz Snowman Way Stamp set!

Here is my card.....

I colored him with a combination of Spectrum Noir markers and metallic gel pens.

The background paper is from 

Robyn Gough Design's Merry Wishes Embellishments & Papers set

We at Gecko Galz have been having fun using Robyn's set with our cross promotion this month.

I used a scrap of green card stock and Martha Stewart border punch to tuck under the snowman piece,

which was pop dotted on top of the background paper.

Peace I've found.....

You know how they say
your (mom & dad's) bedroom
 is always the messiest room in the house?

It's always the same...
rushing through your cleaning...

don't know where this should go right now....

throw it in my room...

I'll deal with it later! 

LATER?????

 When is later? 

Mess piles up!

Well I just realized my room may very well be the cleanest room in this house or it runs closely with the kitchen! 

And why you might ask?

I have an office!

 LOL

My desk...

My closet...

My paper stash...

Storage, tv & stuff...

Thanks to this realization I have a new found appreciation for the mess that I call an office,
for it helps to keep my bedroom clean...

and therefore comfy & calm! 

LOL 

So yes, I will, once again, go in and clean my office 

but now I will no longer fret that I can't seem to get it as clean as I would like it to be
because in its messy state,
 there is also a calm in knowing just on the other side of that wall my serenity can be found....

ahhhhh PEACE.....

My pretty antique mall treasures...
among other things...

a place to sit and read
or put on my shoes...

cute pillow hanging on my curtain rod...

here is my card.....

The background paper is from 

Robyn Gough's Designs Merry Wishes Embellishments & Paper

The little strip of paper on the left side with the stars and circles is from

Gecko Galz Graphicals Paper pk

I colored the Graphicals paper and the snowman with metallic gel pens and the nest & bird were colored with Spectrum Noir markers.

I used a little bit of brushed corduroy distress ink around 

the snowman stamp and card edges.

The doily was cut on my Cameo.

Good morning everyone! 

In the midst of all the Christmas preparation

is my dear husbands birthday...

so today I am sharing the birthday card I made for him!

It's a quick, 

clean & simple card.

I used a scrap piece of Christmas paper that looks fairly generic for the background.

Then I mounted a piece of paper from

Gecko Galz Mayflower digi paper pk

The black scalloped circle was cut on my Cameo 

and the smaller one I used a scallop punch.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from Gecko Galz

It's part of the Chalk Board Sentiments collage set

I used pop dots on this before mounting it to the card.

Pinky the Snowman

Good morning!

I'm back with another one of 

My Artistic Adventures Snowmen!

I love these little guys!

The green snowflake paper is from MME's Merry paper pk.

The music paper is from the 

Gecko Galz Mayflower paper pk.

The peppermint candies & pink polka dot paper was made 

by my dear friend Heather Hudson

Heather is also the designer of the snowman & the fancy pink polka dot tag.

I added some glitter to the snowman's hat and the tree he's holding

as well as around the edges of the fancy tag.

I added the fancy tag on pop dots and wrapped fibers underneath 

Everything was inked with vintage photo distress ink.

Unfortunately you can't see it in the photo but there is metallic gold gel pen around the edges of the music note paper. I wanted the sparkling thread stitched look.

I finished with a little bow I made with my bow-it-all.

Christmas Bells card...

Good morning everyone!

A little bit more than a week to go...

Are you ready for Christmas?

I am happy to say I am!

Don't know how I did it but I did 

and now I am in 

relax and wait mode!

I have a couple more cards to share with you this week.

Today's card started out as a tag and it evolved.....

The bells are from

I added some Art Glitters on the bell image.

The doily is cut from my Cameo.

I use my crop-a-dile for the edges of the tag

I used a scallop punch for the circles.

My Hat...

Good morning eveyone! 

Today I want to show you a hat I made.....

It started out looking like this.....

a simple can.....

glued to a chip board circle....

and painted black

The embellishings were all found at the Dollar Tree

The bird tweets!

It detects motion or noise....tweet tweet!

I love it!

It now sit's beside another hat I bought last year...

Gifts for the Granddaughters.....

Good morning everyone!

I have a few wall hangings to share today.

My granddaughter's love it when I send them something to hang on their walls

 so when I saw a chipboard mini album in my stash

 I thought I would break it up and make something for them.

Here they are.....

Painted with gesso, 

then with a couple of masks and modeling paste 

I added some texture!

Then I added some Lindys Stamp Gang Starburst sprays,

Fuzzy Navel Peach, A Bit o'Bubble, Cosmopolitan Pink, Blue Hawaiian Blue & My Mojito Green.

Layers of cheese cloth (also sprayed with Lindy's)

die cut chipboard bricks (painted and glittered)

die cut chipboard crowns (painted with a couple of pinks acrylic paints and topped with glossy accents)

flowers, metal pieces and pearl birds.

I Love Snow

Well maybe not me exactly! 

LOL

Good morning everyone!

I have a cute little snowman here who does "Love Snow"...

This is another stamp from 

Gecko Galz Snowman Way stamp set.

So many cuties to choose from in this set!

Also from Gecko Galz is the stary paper on the left side of the card

from the Graphical Paper Pack

The red snowflake paper is from 

Robyn Gough Designs Merry Wishes Embellishments & Papers collection.

Green Snowman tag/card

Good morning!

This card is a fairly simple one...

The background papers are from 

Fancy Pant's Designs Saint Nick paper pk.

The white card stock is from my stash.

I used a snowflake punch and added glossy accents to line the edge of the card.

 I made the tag using one of 

My Artistic Adventures Snowmen collage set

and the sentiment boxes from the same collage sheet set.

I inked the edges with brushed corduroy distress ink.

I added Art Glitter (hat) and glossy accents (candy cane & walking stick) to the snowman.

I also put glossy accents on the text boxes.

The fancy corner punch on the top of the tag is an oldie from Fiskars 

and the rounding on the bottom was done with my corner chomper.

Of course, per usual, there are pop dots!

Christmas card

Good morning everyone! 

Today's Christmas card, 

that I have to share, 

is a quick, easy one

Clean and fairly simple...

The ornament is from 

Robyn Gough Designs Winter Wishes Digi Papers & Embellishments

I added some liquid glue and Art Glitter in Bayou, 

around the outer edge of the ornament.

The doily and holly leaves were cut on my Cameo.

I added some clear glitter from my stash, around the leaves.

The blue strip is a a metallic blue paper from my scrap stash

I topped it with some ribbon...

also from my stash.

The background paper is from MME's Merry paper pk.

The doily and ornament were added with pop dots.
