Mojo made an appearance

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry I haven't been around much.
I am nursing a sore arm and wrist.

Too much computer!

While taking a computer break I managed to get a few projects started and a couple of pieces done and I am really happy about that since I haven't been in the mood to create much lately.

This is a mini pillow I put together the other day...

I used a Stampabilities script stamp on the seam binding with
Vintage Photo distress ink.

The flowers and both strings of pearls are from Pro 31 Designs Etsy Store.

The flowers were all white.
I used some Color Box Dusty Plum on the edges.

The butterfly is one I made.
____

This is a card I made for my brother for his birthday...

The white background paper is stamped with the script Stampabilities Stamp in
Vintage Photo distress ink.

Also in Vintage Photo distress ink are the two clock stamps by Prima.

Thanks for stopping by!
Stay warm everyone!

I finally found a little mojo.
It was hiding in the corner of my scrap room!
Before it could get away I snatched it up and began to play.

Brand new embossing folders in hand,
this is what I did...

I used the glamour image from the Bella Muse challenge and
the colors & elements from the Tres Chic challenge over at

I wish I could say I planned it this way but once again I combined the two challenges and didn't realize it until I was done!
They do seem to work together quite well though don't you think?

My embossing folder for this one was
Cuddlebug's Textile, then added a little silvery stickles.
The lacey background was white but I sprayed it with
Pink Taffy Glimmer Mist.
Clear glitter glue for her boa and a barrette of gems added with my I-rock.

She is a beauty!

#2...

This embossing folder was Cuttlebug's Victoria.

Once embossed I ran a
Color Box Fresh Green ink pad over the whole thing.
The glittered piece was a goofed cut from my Cameo.
Added clear pearls to a feather,
a Recollections brown rose and
I-rock gems to the Bingo card Heather gave us for the
Oh la la challenge over at Bella.

#3...

Another Cuttlebug embossing folder.
This one is Sledding.

Snow is on the ground so I thought I would go with a cool wintery look for Shawn's challenge over at Bella's Viola Ink.

I inked my embossing folder with
Broken China Distress Ink
then embossed my piece of cardstock.
Love how that came out!

Then I added some clear glitter glue in all the bordered lines and
on the snowman,
orange glitter glue for his carrot and
brown for his twig/hand.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit and leaving a comment.

2012 Calendar

I want to show you a calendar that I made for myself.

I got my inspiration for this at

The images are old pics of my mom & dad,
dad's sister's
and dad's mom & grandmom.

I made the two larger flowers using cuts from my Cameo.
I stamped them with a swirly stamp and inked them a little with
antique linen distress ink.

The little rosebuds are from Flying Unicorn.
The other flowers are from Recollections.
These were all inked a bit with the antique linen as well.

The little leaves in there I received in a rak from my
Bella Bud Heather.

My little green swirly bits are floral stem wire that I wrapped around a dowel.

I used bisque liquid pearls all over the place.
Might have gone a little crazy with that one! LOL

A little bit of bead trim from the fabric store.

The calendar pages are printed off of my
 My Memories Suite software.

The background paper is part of the
Printery Collection from Prima
and it is all mounted on a couple pieces of chipboard and bound with my
Bind it All and hanging from a piece of  hemp.

Thanks for stopping by!

My challenges...

Wow, what a holiday ride that was!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas
and will enjoy a
Wonderful Happy Healthy New Year!

As I previously posted, I was asked to be on the DT at

This month is my first month to add challenges!

YAY

I hope you will all come on over and join in the fun!
_________

The first challenge is the

I want to start seeing some Hearts since Valentine's Day is fast approaching.

So...

They can be hand sewn,
machine sewn,
no sew,
glued.....

They can be pillows,
sachets,
wall hangings,
ornaments.....

Whatever your heart desires,
as long as they are...
Hearts made of fabric!

Here's a look at my sample pieces.....

What do you think?

Do you like my samples?

Do you want my samples?

Well.....

I am giving them up as the RAK
so I hope to see you over there at Bella
showing off your creations and getting your name in for your chance to win a couple of mine!

Good luck!
_________

The second challenge is the

Keeping with the Heart-full theme

I want to see cards made of hearts...
cards made with hearts on them...
diecut hearts...
heart charms...
Any heart, anywhere on your card!

I would also like to see a little sparkle somewhere too, so get that glitter out and play!

Now this Group is one I share with my Bella Buddy Heather and she provided this sample for me...

Is that cute or what?
I love it!

If you would like to see more of Heather's sample piece check out her youtube video here.

The RAK for this one will be a few goodies from my personal stash!
