A Couple Christmas Tags

Happy weekend everyone!
It's windy as heck over here!

I've been using Heather's new Christmas collage sheets
and a few of her older ones to make a few Christmas tags.

All the circle Santa pieces are from this year's cupcake topper collage sets.
You can find the ones I used HERE & HERE

The backgrounds are from a digital Christmas paper pkg.

The ornaments are part of a Vintage Christmas Ornament sheet.
I could not find the sheet I used but you can find these ornaments and  the candy jar below HERE

The Clock face is from the December Elements Sheet.

I added some Nuvo glitter and crystal drops for the candy jar and peppermints.

The Vintage Candy Cane Sticks are HERE.

Here is a link to all of MyArtisticAdventures
The cake toppers, the December elements, as well as the candy cane sticks, are done in a few different colors.
The paper pack also has several different papers in it.

Halloween Banner

Hi!

It's me,
out of hiding once again!

Here to show off a quick little
Halloween Banner I recently put together.

Here are the tags I used for 4 of the backgrounds...

Here are the other 3 background tags...
I folded the top of this tag to the back, around the twine.

And the little tickets...
I added a bit of stickles on the edges of these
and used pop dots to place these on the tags.

All these collage sheets are from
You can click on the images of the collage sheets above to go to the store for purchase if you like.

Halloween card

Here is a cute little card I made using
new Halloween digital sheets.

Aren't these images cute?

I added some glossy accents to the buttons to give them a little dimension.
And below I tried to show the glimmer on the pumpkin that I added with my wink of stella pen.

a MOMENT...

Howdy folks!

Here I'm using up some of the circles I've got die cut and laying on my desk,
 to make a quick card.
I added an oval with a heat embossed sentiment
and some enamel drops.
The oval is on pop-dots.

Thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

It's a beautiful day for shopping

Hi everyone!

I've had this stamp for a while and finally decided how I wanted to use it!

I got out my distress oxide inks and made the background.
Colored the stamped image, with alcohol ink pens,
and added clouds.
A couple of the clouds
and the stores stamp
are on pop-dots!

I don't know about you but I wouldn't mind strolling through these stores!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a happy day!

With love...

Good morning, afternoon or evening!

For whatever reason
I wanted to do a white, black and red card...
with a touch of grey!

I have a habit of die cutting way more circles than I need at a time,
so I had these sitting on my desk ready to go.
I used a new border die for the lacy bit,
and added the sentimemt in red embossing powder.
Can't be a card of mine without pop-dots,
so they are on the sentiment and mat.

Thanks for the visit, it is much apprecitated!
Have a wonderful day!

hello

Hello folks!

The doodly piece on this card was printed from a page in my art journal.
I added a black mat and a new border die cut piece,
then popped it up with pop-dots.

Put that on a Distress Oxide background I made...
and finished with a heat embossed "hello"!

Easy Peasy!

Have a great day!

We do not remember days...

Good day to you all!

This background die is one of my newer dies so I wanted to play with it.

My idea was to do an all white card but since my sentiment had to be in color I decide to use black embossing powder and put a black layer in below the sentiment.
I also added gold embossing to go around the sentiment.
I'm so pleased with the elegance of this card!

Thinking of you

 Hi all!

This card evolved out of frustration

I started out with a fussy cut flower I had stamped and colored.
For the life of me, I could not make it work!
I tried this and I tried that but...yuck!

However, in my attempts to make that flower work I had stamped this lacy doily on another piece of paper, which also didn't work!

But alas...
An ah-ha moment!

I got out a colored piece of cardstock and my white embossing powder and "Ooo, that looks pretty!" came to mind.
But what now?
I put the colored leaves underneath but it needed more.
So die cut another layer!
I used the same color paper,
and
that didn't pop enough for me!
So...
I added pop dots and some
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White
and that did the trick.

I added the sentiment with heat embossing to finish it off.
This card can be one of the favorites I've made!

Just goes to show
just how good trial and error can turn out for you
 if you keep going!

Thank you for visiting!
Have a wonderful day!

You're the best

Hi folks!

The first few times I tried this technique with the Distress Oxide Inks I failed miserably but I think I've got it now!
(smoosh ink on mat, spray with water and
smoosh cardstock in it)
I love how my backgrounds are coming out now!
The flower is colored with alcohol ink markers
and the sentiment is heat embossed.
I, of course, used pop-dots
under the flower and my colorful background paper.

I hope you like my card!

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Hello, it's a flower card

Hello all!

First I decided to stamp a bunch of flowers to color with some alcohol pens.

Then I decided to play with my Distress Oxide Inks

and this is what came next.....
A couple of die cuts
as well as some fussy cutting,
pop-dots and embossing powder

I'm loving the Distress Oxide background!

Love on a card

Hi!

I bought a new die set on my last trip to Tuesday Morning!
It's a Stephanie Barnard set.

Here is the card...

I layered the LOVE piece 3 times then with the fourth cut
I removed the border and laid LOVE on top.
I'm liking how this came out with the layers
and the Nuvo Glitter drops on LOVE.
It gives it even more dimension.

Unfortunately,
the cardstock that I used was a little too flimsy for the base so my next one will have to be done with a heavier base.

And due to that flimsy base,
I was going to say that I "probably" won't give this to anyone,
however.....

if you look at the bottom right of this photo...
as I was getting ready for picture taking,
I dipped it into the one little drop of tea on my desk!
The flimsy paper is now warped!

"Probably" is no longer probably...
it is most definitely,
 "Definitely" NOT going to anyone!

LOL

Just another day in a craft room!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Gelli printed card

Hello!

I was in a gelli printing mood and decided to make some cards with what I ended up with.

Here is my first card...

Wow, the photo doesn't do the colors justice!
Hopefully, if you click on it you'll get a better look!

The embellishments were leftover from another card I made.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

My version...

Hi!

So jumping on the Travelers Notebook wagon
I decided to try my hand at making my own!

My guess at the cover paper is it's from BoBerry,
I could be wrong.

The flip side of the cover page
and the cover page of my first insert.
The insert cover page is a gelli plate print I did.

The calendar pages are from My Artistic Adventures

Here are the pockets I made behind the December calendar
and another gelli plate printing strategically hiding my journaling.

Below are the lined papers I made.
Simply set my Word Page to landscape and printed a whole bunch of underscores for the lines.

Here you can see a close up of the lines as well as the notch I punched in the journal to keep it in place in the notebook.

A bunch of tags from Heather at My Artistic Adventures are below.
I love these!
She painted the roses, buds and everything else on the tags!

The pockets I made from the edges of her calendar pages.

Not sure where I got the cardstock above.

My second insert

and the back page

I did not measure to make sure it was exactly like
the TN's out there,
just wanted one that worked for me and what I had to use.

I made a spur of the moment decision to make a video about this!
The link is below.

Retro Mini Album

Hi!

The mini album I'm sharing was supposed to be a baby girl mini but didn't quite make it there for me,
but it is pretty cool anyway (if I do say so myself)!

I bought the retro paper pad a while ago.
Not sure where anymore.

Here is the album...

There are loads of places for photos and journaling

There are pockets & tags

Pages that flip out one way or the other,
with either a magnet or a velcro closure

Top and side pockets with large tags for photos and journaling

Tuck spots for more photos,
under the butterfly(above) or borders(below)

A waterfall page with bellyband

More pockets & tags
as well as
photo mat or journal mat pages

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you like my retro mini!

Have a wonderful day!
