Bluish Christmas card...

Good morning everyone!

Today I want to show you another couple of my Christmas tag/envelop cards!

The grey flocked paper and blue ribbon is from my stash.

These cute little girl images are from the Christmas Children collage set and from Gecko Galz.
I printed them in two sizes.

The blue background papers are also from Gecko Galz, the Winter Wonderland paper pkg.

Above is a look at them side by side.

Below...card #2

I fussy cut a snowflake from the flocked paper and pop dotted it on the envelop.

On all the papers, both cards, I added a bit of pearl paint dabber to the edges.

The snowman image is from the Frosty collage set and the "25" ticket is from the Altered Christmas collage set at Gecko Galz.

The music note tag is from Heather Hudson's collage set, here.

Merry Christmas Card

Hi everyone!

How are you all doing with your Christmas prep?
My tree is up
and
everything is decorated.

Most of my handmade gifts are done
and some are even wrapped!
I "think" my shopping is done (are you ever really done shopping?)!
Most of my cards went to the Post Office this morning.
Cookies need to be made soon.

Although I had nothing to do with this one...
Snow is on the ground and the temps (Brrrr) are working pretty good at keeping the ground covered for a
White Christmas

I hope you all are pretty well set and staying stress free!

*****

Tonight I want to show you one of the cards I made for Christmas this year.

I went a little different this year.....
I basically made a tag & envelope!

Here is the tag.....

The background paper is from an old paper pkg in my stash..sorry I don't have the name of it.

I used a Santa image from the Santa Clause Lane collage sheet from Gecko Galz.

The Merry Christmas ticket is from my digi stash.
I found them at Miss Cutiepie ages ago.
I added Burgandy Stickles on the edges of the Santa image as well as the ticket.

The flags, tucked under the Santa image, are a maroon velvet ribbon

Below is the envelop.....

I added more of the velvet ribbon another, smaller, ticket and a white poinsettia from my stash.

Below you can see them both side by side.....

Merry Christmas Season!

Time for a new challenge.....

Good morning everyone!

We have a new challenge over at

The challenge is
Christmas sparkle with glitter!

Here is my sample card.....

The digi stamp I used is
designed by Christine Young.
Isn't it adorable?

The background paper is from

I used a purple cardstock to mat my background and stamped image.

I colored the stamp with Spectrum Noir markers and added some fine white glitter, from my stash, to the mail box and snow on the ground.
Also from my stash, I added a little bit of lace.

White flocking was used on her outfit and the pompom on her hat.

I cut the snowflake on my Silhouette Cameo,
then added some $1 bin clear glitter glue for some sparkle.

Here you can see that once again I used my trusty pop dots.
Also I added a bit of the same background papers on the inside of the card.

Below you can see a bit of the shine from the glitter on the mail box and a little bit of the fluff of the flocking on her outfit.

The flag on the mailbox was colored with a red metallic gel pen.

I hope you can stop by Treasured Times to see the other DT members sample as well!

James & Sled Ornament

Good morning everyone!

I have an ornament to show you today!

This little guy may look familiar if you saw my post on Dec 2nd.

I used the same digi stamp,
James & Sled designed by Erica Nicomedi,

I printed out the image on cardstock,
colored it with Spectrum Noir markers,
then mounted it on to a piece of double thick cardstock for stability.
I fussy cut around the stamp.
Then I flipped the image,
colored it and glued it to the back side.....

Below you can see the white opal liquid pearls I used for the snow on the tree.
I used glossy accents on both back and front
then added a jump ring
and ribbon to hang this little guy on the tree.

This little ornament will be going to my grandson for his Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas card...

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a little Christmas card to share today.

I cut the card base out of white cardstock and added a scrap piece of patterned paper to it.

I then added a piece of mesh ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon) and topped it with a polka dot ribbon from my stash.

Using my trusty pop dots I added my image
(Gecko Galz Christmas Kids collage set)
The wreath needed a little pizzazz so I used Bayou Glitter (Art Glitter)
and Rouge liquid pearls.

I printed out the Merry Christmas sentiment and added some $1 bin red glitter glue to the edges.

The little rose was an ivory color,
I added some fired brick distress marker to the edges and sprayed it with Perfect Pearl mist.

To finish it off...I made a bow out of the Christmas twine (also from Really Reasonable Ribbon).

*****
I so appreciate your visit and all your kind words!
Have a great day!

I am linking up to Really Reasonable Ribbons current challenge "BINGO"

Happy New Year card.....

Good morning everyone!

Today's DT project for Gecko Galz is a New Year's card!

I started with a piece of white cardstock that I cut for my base
and wiped rock moss ink (Ingvil Bolme) along the edges.

I added a bit of netting ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Using Moss Glimmer Mist I sprayed a piece of crochet ribbon, from my stash and added that to the top of my card.

The music note piece is a leftover piece from a tag I used on another project...
you can find these tags at Heather's Etsy shop.

The little girl image is from Gecko Galz
Happy New Year Baby collage set.

Finishing it off, I added a wooden holly piece (Prima) that I topped with peeled paint distress stain then added some Rouge liquid pearls for the berries.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such wonderful comments!
Have a great day!

Today we'll be starting a new challenge over at Treasured Times!
This challenge is "All about Christmas"

With that Christmas theme,
we on the DT, used the

Aren't they cute?
Love that tree too!

I used Spectrum Noir markers to color everything.

I added some white opal liquid pearls for the snow on the tree
and I painted the snowman with some pearl paint dabber paint.

I added a couple of black I-rock gems for the snowmans coal eyes.

Waterfall Stickles was used around the edges of my stamped piece.

My background paper is from

The blue ric-rac ribbon is from my stash.

In the picture above you can see that I added pop dots to raise my image about the background.
I think I am addicted to those pop dots, I don't seem to be able to make anything without a few somewhere!

Tag ornament

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I had a nice, quiet, dinner with my husband and daughter.
My other kids were back home with their familys.

*****
Today I wanted to show you this cute ornament I made.

I have been trying to make a bunch of  different ornaments because I love a variety on my tree,
so when I knocked down my basket full of tags and found this little one,
 in the mess,
I thought it would make a cute addition to my collection...
once I decked it out of course!

Once I got it all decked out I thought it looked like a front door!
What do you think?

The center, script banner/ribbon piece is from Gecko Galz
it has a bit of burgandy stickles on the edges.

The tag itself I stamped some snowflakes, randomly,
with weathered wood distress ink
then added some glitter to the edges.
I used Challis from Art Glitter.

The crochet lace on the bottom is from my stash.

The wooden wreath is from Prima.
I added some pealed paint distress stain then added the berries and bow with rouge liquid pearls.

I added a bow that I made
and a couple of beads to the jewelry wire hanger that I formed.

Below is a crooked picture of it on the tree!
LOL

Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you all have a great week!

Baby's First Christmas

Good morning everyone!

My ornament today is made with Gecko Galz papers and image
and is being featured on the Gecko Galz site.

My son & daughter-in-law are expecting a son,
SOON,
so my ornament is for my new Grandson's First Christmas...

I started with 3 wooden heart shapes.
I added a couple of pieces of paper (with mod podge)
from the Blue Willow paper pkg,
from Gecko Galz,
due out in a couple of days,
in December!

I added some vintage photo distress ink to all the heart edges as well as all the papers, sentiment pieces, and image.

I used Crackle Accents to the top of all the hearts.

A close-up of the first heart.....

I used Glossy accents to add the sentiment pieces and the image
then topped them with the Glossy Accents as well!

How cute is this little angel?
I found this cutie on the Christmas Children collage sheet at Gecko Galz and had to fussy cut him and add him to my ornament.
What better picture for a new baby's ornament!

I love the look from the Crackle Accents!

Above you can see that I drilled holes in the hearts
(or "hearts" and flowers...I'll show you the flowers later)
with my handy dandy Dremel so I could add
jump rings and a glass beads to connect the hearts.

Below is a look at the back....

You can see the vintage photo distress ink and I simply added some Glossy Accents to the back.

I added a piece of baby blue ribbon from my stash to hang it on the tree!

If you haven't yet,
please pop over to Gecko Galz
and check out more of the ornaments that the rest of the Design Team has created!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving
and
have a great Holiday season!

Oh Christmas Tree...

Good morning everyone!

Today's ornament is a Christmas tree.

This is the last shape I used for my ornament sheet I made in Gimp.
This has the same music note image from Graphics Fairy.

I used a trim for the garland and
Rouge liquid pearls & Platinum stickles for the ornaments/lights.
I also used the Platinum stickles around the black cardstock that I fussy cut around the tree for a mat.
The sentiment I printed on my computer.

Below you can see that I twisted my jewelry wire around a dowel.
On the first photo above you can see that the jewelry wire ended up looking like one of the larger Christmas tree light bulbs.
That was one of those happy accidents!
LOL

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great week!

Silver Bells Ornament

Good morning friends!

Today I have another ornament to show you.

This was one of the new ornaments I designed in Gimp.

The background music note image is from Graphics Fairy.

I added vintage photo distress ink on the bell and sentiment piece.

I added the little May Arts leaves and a little rose on top of a bit of lace
then mounted the bell on top of a piece of red cardstock.
I fussy cut the mat around the bell and leaves.

Above you can see the sentiment piece that I mounted the same way I did the bell.
You can also see that I added a bit of Pearl Paint Dabber around the edges of everything including the piece of stem that I twisted.

Below is a close up of the rose leaf cluster.
I sprayed the rose with perfect pearl mist for a bit of sparkle.

I used a piece of Christmas Twine to hang the ornament.

My tree is going to look so good with all these handmade ornaments!
I'm having a lot of fun making them.
I hope you are having fun making your Christmas decorations!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Scrappy Dayz!

Christmas stocking card

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a Christmas card to show you.

I started out with one of my stocking ornaments I designed in Gimp.
Once I had it decorated I decided to put it on a card instead of making an ornament out of it.

I used a blank card and topped it with a piece of patterned paper from the
Grandma's House paper pkg from Gecko Galz.

I used my Martha Stewart punch on a scrap strip of paper then topped that with an image from Graphics Fairy.
The music note image on my stocking is also from Graphics Fairy.

I distressed all the edges of the papers and stocking then added vintage photo distress ink.

I used Rouge liquid pearls on the stocking toe & heel then decided it need more so I added some Burgundy stickles.

To go with the burgundy I added a piece of velvet trim to the top.

Added a bow I made with sheer ribbon from my stash.

I finished off the card with a few more bits of liquid pearls on the corners of the cards.

*****
I promise I did clean the dust from my cd player after taking this last shot!
I found my desktop too!
LOL

Happy Scrappy Dayz!
