Merry Christmas

Hi folks!

Just popping in to share a tag I made this morning

Is it wrong to be so pleased with myself?
I tend to fear too many layers and usually play it safe but I really had fun adding pieces to this!
As I type I'm even thinking of other things to add!
Maybe it's the season!

Here is a list of things I used to make this...

Click on these images to take you to the Etsy store for purchase.

The tags I had printed but needed them smaller to fit inside the mitten so I cut it down.

I added some Nuvo glitter drops
and some liquid pearls in rouge.
Also, a small brad, die cut pine needles and twine.

Hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season!

Snowmen Ornaments

   Hello everyone!

Yesterday I spent most of my day painting these little canvases!

I made one for each grandchild,
including the one whose arrival will be a couple months after Christmas.

I bought these little canvases ages ago with the intention of doing these
but time goes on and the mind just goes!

Forgotten no longer!

I'm really pleased how my mountains came out in this one.
I was not so sure about that decision for a while there!

I enjoy painting like this,
when it all works the way I want it to or cuter!

This guy above has a wonky mouth but he's still a cutie!

The background on this one below looks a bit greyish but it's really more of a greenish.
It's prettier in real life!

I like this one below.
Heart in hands
and the floating string of lights!

This one threw up his hands to say
"Hooray, Christmas is coming!"

And here they all are together.
(you can click on the image below to enlarge it)

The long ones are 2 x 3 inches and the squares are 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.

I added a loopy bit to the tops for hanging.

Now they are all ready to be sent to their new homes!

Thanks for stopping by!
I always enjoy the company!

Merry Gingerbread Christmas

I'm using Heather's cutie pie gingerbread cupcake toppers again!

Also her Merry Christmas tags!

I may be a little partial but I'm loving this card!

The die-cut I used, as well as, the gold glittery enamel drops,
 give it a little elegance
while the gingerbread man makes it so cute!
And yummy!

Stop by My Artistic Adventures Etsy to get these gingerbread card toppers and tags!
They are in the 'Christmas/Winter Design's' section!

Love

Here's a card I made just because.

I had all the die cuts on my desk and just decided to put them all together.

I think it came out pretty nice if I do say so myself!

The circle dies I used here came with a few sentiment stamps and this "LOVE" was one of them.
I used silver embossing powder for this.

The silver paper in the background
(with my shadow and little pink bucket in it...lol)
is from Walmart.

Merry Christmas

Here's another card I made using
My Artistic Adventures Christmas digi-papers.

I love these little holly berries!

I used a bronze embossing powder for the sentiment.

'

This photo above shows a closer look at the holly & berries.

Thanks for visiting me

Washi Christmas

So I had my Christmas washi tapes on my desk and decided to play.
I had no real plan
I used the whole set of tapes and loved my layout.

After making this card I had to buy a new set of tapes to play with.
We'll see what happens with them!

Merry Gingerbread Christmas

Heather, my BOLB
(Best OnLine Buddy)
is so darn creative!

I can't get enough of these little gingerbread men cup cake toppers!
You get both sizes in the set!
(4 digital sheets in the set)

Super cute!

I thought the addition of the rickrack was perfect for a gingerbread man card.
It reminds me of some of the frosting designs that are done on some gingerbread men I've seen
and probably eaten!
Yum!

Omg, I can be such a ditz sometimes!
I just realized the reason he has the cupcake in front of him!
Cupcake topper!

Go ahead laugh!
I am!
hahaha

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks a Latte

This is cool!
I hadn't seen these embossing folders with the die attached.
It cut the cup and embossed the paper at the same time.
It also came with the sentiment & lid rim dies.

I colored everything with distress oxide inks.
Love the way they blend!

Merry Christmas

Are you all set with your Christmas card making yet?

Here is a new card I made using Heather's digi's and a couple of dies.

I love that striped tag
and
that gingerbread man(cupcake topper) with his pink background
goes perfectly on top!

Here is a close up showing my use of foam tape, silver string
and a little silver liquid pearls.

Merry Christmas

I bought a magazine at Joanns last week.
It's one of those, from the UK, that they add stamps or dies to.
This one had, not only stamps & dies but also a set of patterned papers.

I decided to copy and print the papers instead of cutting them out of the magazine.
I used the white wood grain and the leafy papers.

I didn't use any of the stamps but used the deer head die.
I cut that with a black glittery paper I bought from Walmart.

I haven't made an easel card in a while but thought it would be perfect for this card.

Gingerbread Greetings

Time to play with Heather Hudson's
new gingerbread men, Christmas tags and holiday greetings digi-sheets.

The gingerbread man circle is actually one of the cupcake topper pieces.
I don't eat cupcakes much but had to use these cute pieces so on my card it went.

Love that Merry Christmas tag and
the greetings sheet,
which, by the way,
has several different greeting to chose from!

Gingerbread men

Hi folks!

Heather has some cutesy gingerbread men in her Etsy store!
(link below)
Look at how cute a couple of them are!

I made a simple little envelope with two of the card-sized cuteys!

Front
Back

And below are a bunch of new goodies that are also in Heather's store.
I cut them out and put them in my envelope and headed to work!
Of course,
since I had something to play with, at work, I was too busy to play!
Oh well, they're cut and ready to go!

Hello friend

Playing with my new dies!

The background die is from Tim Holtz
and the flower dies are cheapo's I ordered on Amazon.

The cheapo's came as a set with stars, squares, hearts, as well as the flowers.

I was a little worried when I saw the cheapo dies but they cut beautifully!

After coloring the flower with Spectrum Noir markers
I added a bit of sparkle with a perfect pearls spray.

Warm Winter Blessings

These cutesy snow girlies are from a collage set
designed by Heather Hudson at My Artistic Adventures.

The sentiment boxes also come from the same collage sheets.

'
I added some distressed inks to everything.
The snow girlies have coal/black enamel drops for their mouths & eye.
I used some silver thread behind the die cut and put that on the striped/holly paper.

Sweet Christmas Wishes

I may have gone a little overboard adding the "sweet" stamps all over this scene!

I colored all the stamps with Spectrum Noir markers,
then I added some sparkling gel pens here and there.

Glossy accents was added to the red & white candies and the heart on the door.

I used white liquid enamel for the snow on the roof and at the bottom of the house
and as dots on the little blue snowflakes.

Below you can kinda see the glossy candy lollypops.

Thanks for stopping by to see my sweet card!

Joy

Here is a simple card using a couple die cuts
and a punch.

I inked the "joy" die cut,
used a silver pen to draw lines down the larger areas,
then decided to add some glossy accents on top.

Greetings

Christmas is getting closer!

Here are a couple cards I made using a paper pack
and collage packs from

Aren't these vintage ornaments cute!
They are part of a candy and ornament collage sheet!

I love these paper packs!
The holly leaves & berries are adorable
and
I love the allover sentiment on this one below!

Joy

This card was fun!

The background paper was made on my gelli plate!
What's more fun than messy paint play!

Joy is my Christmas word
so I couldn't put any other word on my background.

Christmas card

Hello all!

This background paper is so pretty!
It's one of those papers I had to force myself not to hoard!

The center piece I cut from another piece of patterned paper.
I think I like it better as a embellishment than a full sheet.
