Hello.....

In my last post I said I would show the card I wanted to do
with the gelli print paper
that I used for the Christmas card.

So here it is.....

I did end up using a little piece of the gelli print for the banner piece.

The hello background was made with 3 Hello/Hi stamps

I added a couple diecuts...
the larger one was run through an embossing tray and inked.

I used diamond stickles to top my stamped Hello sentiment on top
and
finished off with a little butterfly.

Merry Christmas......

I know!
I know!

Don't ask me why!

I cut the blue background piece
(gelli print)
for a different kind of card
but it didn't work for me,
so I set it aside.

Figured out the other card
(I'll share that soon)
and went back to this piece.

Decided to add some pearl dabber paint through a starburst stencil
(dabber top not screwed on right so lots of background papers now have pearly starbursts stenciling on them...sigh)

Hmm, should I go on?

Maybe I should just pack it all in for the day!

Nah...keep going!

Snowflakes!!!

They'd look great on this blue background with pearly starbursts
and
I can use my new die
(the Merry Christmas & Happy New Year die)
that I found on the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby!

So I guess you could say it all just snowballed into a Christmas card!

I added some Wink of Stella to the sentiment die and a little bit of diamond stickles to a little bit of the snowflakes.
The photo below was an attempt to show you the shimmer.

Summer is really will be here soon!

Mixed Media Morsels #16

Good morning!

Here is the page I finished for
Mixed Media Morsels
with Cat Hand...

This morsel was about making the butterflies.

I am so into doodling these days so these were fun to doodle on.

Here, below,
are a some close ups of all my little butterflies.....

This itty bitty was tricky to cut and doodle on,
hence the easy dots!

 with some of the prints
and
a bit of doodling.....

Such fun!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!

Thanks for visiting!

Gelli printing!

You know when the Gelli Plates came out I thought
"yeah right...why?"

A couple months ago I bought a 5x7 and now I'm addicted to the darn thing!

Here's some of the prints I've gotten...

This one below is a favorite ...
I love the colors

This one,
below,
was an attempt with a couple roller thingys I tried,
they didn't want to roll!
Oh well!

Below is a close up of the texture left by a fibery facial sponge.....

And then there is always stencil fun.....

April Mission Inspiration...

It's me again!
The inconsistent blogger!

sigh...

Oh well,
it is what it is I guess.
Life always gets in the way and time goes on.

Today I finished my Mission Inspiration for April and wanted to share it...

The Mission plan is below.

These Missions are fun
and
can drive you crazy!
LOL

I was good until I decided to use black paint for the bubble wrap markings.
Tried to fix that by going over it with white bubble wrap markings!

My quote is pretty small on this page.

And the car pretty much was nonexistent when I stamped it
sooo.......

in came #11
Carols addition!

I added some Inka Gold around the truck and quote to make it pop more.
You can see a bit of the shimmer in the picture below.

Here is the Mission plan
If you click on the image below it should bring you to the youtube video with
