Hugs..I love you

Good afternoon everyone!

Yesterday I spent a lot of time cutting a bunch of  Heather's collage sets with my Cameo,
then playing with glitter!

This is the card I created.....

The background is a scrap from Graphic 45's Once upon a Springtime collection.
I am working on getting rid of my scraps and what better way then to make a pretty card!

the tag is from the Romantic Roses Shabby White Music set,
the heart is part of the Romantic Focals Cupid Text Boxes set,
the scalloped round cherub is from the Vintage Shabby Chic Valentine Cherub Cupid Focal tags set.
the banner is from the Romantic Victorian Vintage Banner Bases set,
and
the alphabet boxes is from the Tiny Vintage Shabby Natural Alphabet Text set.

The bow I made with my Bow-it-All using some seam binding from
The little leaves are from RRR also.

The little pieces underneath the flower were in my stash.

I made the flower using a heart from the Romantic Focals Cupid Text boxes set...
I had a alignment goof (my fault..oops!) with my Cameo and ended up with an extra that couldn't be used as it was so I used a couple of flower punches to put that together, topping it with a pink I-rock gem.

The round cherub focal was added with pop dots.

The glitters I used are from Art Glitter.....
#337 Challis - dotted around the tag
&
#142 Coral Reef - everywhere else including the dots on the banner.

I added vintage photo distress ink on all of the papers.

On top of the banner I added some Clear Rock Candy distress crackle.
I love that crackle look!

Masculine Perpetual Calendar

Hi everyone!

I have been doing a bit of rearranging here in my scrappy place.
A couple of days ago my husband came in and spotted my perpetual calendar that I made for myself a while back.
Apparently he hadn't seen it where I had it before.
He liked it so much he said he wanted one so I jumped right in and made him this one.....

I used several Graphic 45's A Proper Gentleman Collection papers.

I used vintage photo distress ink on the edges of all the papers and box.
The box is a dollar store Christmas box.
I painted it with gesso before adding the papers and ink.

The month and day ovals were printed on my computer and then punched, inked and pop dotted on to the cards.
The numbers are a dimensional sticker that were.....umm.....
borrowed.....
from my daughters stash.

On the front of the box I fussy cut a couple bits from the G45 papers.

Hubby loved it!

Sea Shells card...

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a quick card to show you.

The background papers are scraps I have from Graphic 45's La Cirque collection.
Love when I can get rid of some scraps!
I used one side for the background and the second side for the little ribbon strip.

I added a couple of Candi's brad-like pieces.

The white matt was made with plain cardstock (another scrap)
and a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch.

I added a little piece of mesh ribbon then topped it with a
Vintage Card Topper from Gecko Galz
that I added to a teal cardstock matt (scrap).
This was added with pop dots.

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you like my simple little card!

Creativity Planner.....

Good morning friends!

I was hopping along last week and came across a Shabby Art Boutique blog post where Kerryanne was showing a peek and giving away her
Creativity Planner & Calendar pages for free!
The giveaway is for a limited time so if you want it you should be quick!

I liked the idea so I went ahead and grabbed the pages and started making a planner for myself.

I used a couple of images from Gecko Galz
for the cover,
from the Vintage Card Toppers collage collection.

The larger flowers are from Prima.
A couple of small carnations tucked under the large rose are from
Wild Orchid Crafts.
The leaves I cut on my Cameo.
The clear bead spray is from my stash (don't remember where I found those).
The trim on top of my punched lace is also from my stash.

Here are a couple pictures below of the insides...

I used a couple of Graphic45 papers for the inside pages and pockets.

These are just a few of the planner pages.....
there are many!

I added some tabs to each section of the planner.

Now I just have to remember to use it...wish me luck with that!

Below are a couple of the Calendar pages

I simply took the calendar pages and mounted them on cardstock and made a flip book.
I will flip them for 6 months then turn the book around and flip back for the last 6 months

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great week!

Valentine Thoughts

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a DT project to show you
from Gecko Galz.

This month Gecko Galz has teamed up with Basic Grey to show how well their products work together.

This is one of the cards I made this month using these products.....

The papers are from the Basic Grey True Love collection.
I used 3 papers,
1st for the background, 2nd for the mat and the 3rd for the ribbon look on top of my lace trim.

The heart arrow is also from the Basic Grey True Love collection.
I used pop dots to give it a little dimention.

The darling image is from Gecko Galz Valentine Wishes collage sheet!
I used a piece of scrap red cardstock behind it to make it pop a little.

The flower(Prima), lace trim, leaves(Really Reasonable Ribbon) and ribbon are from my stash.

I used my new favorite toy, a Bow-it-All, to make the bow.
Love how perfect the bows come out.....
I now have several bows ready made on my desk!

Now over at Gecko Galz you can get in on the fun!

On the first day of Christmas.....

Yup, I said Christmas!

Over at My Artistic Adventures that is your next challenge.....
"On The First Day of Christmas"
So grab your pretty digi's from My Artistic Adventures Etsy and have some Christmas fun!
Use the coupon code "MYARTISTICADVENTURES" and you'll receive 15% off of a $5 or more purchase!

The challenge runs from today, Jan 16th, to Feb 14th at 12am EST

Here is the project I made.....

In an attempt to use all the pieces I already had printed and cut
(I have lots to chose from)
I decided to make this cute little box!

I don't have a picture of it but I started by making a basic open topped box from cardstock,
then grabbed 3 tags from the Vintage Music Large Tags
and 1 from the Shabby Vintage Victorian Christmas Tag (that I trimmed) and
glued them onto the basic box.

On the front piece I simply added some glitter glues to the little angels gown and wings then added some lace, a twine bow and button.

Around the bottom of the other three sides I added a small crochet trim.

I also added some clear glitter glue to all the edges of the tags.

This heart is from the Shabby Vintage Ivory Christmas Mitten collage set.
I used a white gel embossing pen and retraced the swirls.
I also added a edging of Wild Rose glitter (#215) from Art Glitter.
I pop dotted the heart and added a couple pieces of red trim to the top.

On this side,
 below,
I used the Shabby Vintage Victorian Pugs & Pooches collage set for the heart/bingo piece and
the Romantic Roses Birds Victorian Vintage collage set that I pop dotted on top.
I tucked a little piece of a feather underneath.
Some of my glitters on this side were from Art Glitter
(# 215-wild rose on the heart,  #142-coral reef on the rose and #286-lettuce on the leaves)
and on the bird I added some blue Stickles.

Next I went with the Vintage Shabby Chic Christmas Holly Gift collage set on this side.
I love the way Heather designed all the pieces to fit together on this set!

I added some Lettuce Art Glitter to the edges of the holly leaves,
traced the Noel letters with a red metallic gel pen (love the sparkle) and topped that with some glossy accents.
I used red micro beads for the holly berries.
The red trim was a scrap on my desk.
A little piece of bling to finish off this side.

Below is a close up,
to show off the metallic sparkle from the gel pen,
before I added the holly berry beads & bling.

The next couple of pictures are a couple of angled views.

I added a bow on top for the closure.
The holly pieces that I used to reimburse the holes are from the
I cut the holly off of one of the sentiment tags.

*****
I hope you like my little box but now I have a question.....

Do you think if I give this box to my husband that he'll get the hint and put something small and shiny in there for me for Christmas this year?
Maybe something pretty for my little fingers or something to hang around my neck?
I think one...
or maybe both would fit nicely in there!

Hmmm.....

Let's Spell Valentine

Good morning friends!

Today's Gecko Galz DT project is this Valentine's Day card!

I started with a blank card base and added a script stamp with Broken China distress ink

I topped that with a piece of paper from Gecko Galz Blue Willow paper collection.

I added a doily and topped that with another digital paper we, at Gecko Galz, got to play with this month.
It is from Basic Grey and it's from the True Love papers.
I took this piece of blue paper into GIMP,
along with one of Gecko Galz digi stamps from the True Love stamp collection,
and I added it to the paper.

You can win your own Basic Grey True Love paper collection by creating your own Valentine project
using Gecko Galz & Basic Grey products and
send a picture of your project to geckogalz@yahoo.com by January 31st.
Then on Feb 5th Gecko Galz will announce a winner.

I topped that with a image I found on the Love is in the Air collage sheet,
also from Gecko Galz.
I used a bit of scrap white cardstock to mat it.
I added diamond stickles to the heart for a bit of sparkle.

And last,
I finished off my card with a piece of scrap lace that I used my Bow-it-All to make this pretty bow!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

Wait till you see them, you'll want them all too!
(I have a link to all the collage sheets I used within my post)

This post is a bit picture heavy so I'll try to keep from being too wordy!

My tag,
Front...
I used glossy accents on the bird, liquid pearl (rouge) on the rose & around the edges of the tag and glitter on the leaves.
The back...
more glitter and liquid pearls.

Below.....
topped with
and
some word blocks left over from the
Romantic Rose Bird tag set above.
I used the glossy accent & the glitter, again, on the heart and sentiment boxes.
Below you can see the sides of the box where I used the

Next.....
My tussie mussie...
I decorated all sides the same.
No glitter on this one, just a little black soot distress ink on the edges.

And from the same collage sheet I used the heart topper to make the card below.
I started with a tag from the
then heart topper with a
More glitter, on the hearts edges and around the focal (Thank You sentiment).

Once I saw the Alpha focals I knew I wanted to make banners for my granddaughters,
who love when I make things to hang on their walls,
so this is the first one of 4 that I will be making.
I started with the hearts from the
collage sheet
A closeup below of one of the hearts & alpha focal pieces...
more glitter!

Below is a combo Birthday/Valentines Day card for my niece.
I used the
Here is a close up of the pug.
I topped him with glossy accents.
You can also see I broke out the glitter again!

And last...
This is what happens while I'm waiting for glitter & glue to dry...
I use leftover pieces from the

Conversation Heart bases were cut for the base.
