Good morning friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Are you still full?
I am!
How many of you went out for Black Friday shopping...
or Thanksgiving night shopping?
Did you find all the wonderful things you needed,
to help Santa out,
at great bargains?
I have to admit...
as much as I've always ran in the opposite direction on
Black Friday,
the last couple of years I have been out there!
I grab what I'm looking for,
as fast as I can find it,
and run to the checkout!
Don't like being in that craziness for too long!
Not this year though...
I did a little online shopping and a LOT of relaxing at home!

Here comes Christmas!
I have been sharing,
during November,
some of my Christmas cards.....
some of them started out as a little tag.....
today I'm going to share another one.....
This one may be one of my favorites!
I cut the tag out of a white sheet of card stock,
I used a corner punch for the top corners
and my corner rounder chomper for the bottom.
The star background is a paper from
Gecko Galz Kitchy Kool paper collection
On top of that I matted that cute little jar
(Gecko Galz Christmas Icons collage sheet)
with shimmery green paper from my scrap stash,
then added a little bow.
The darling little girl is also from
Gecko Gals...
She is part of the Christmas Cuties collage sheet.
I added liquid glue dots and a coral glitter to her roses,
then I glued the feather behind her
and finished by mounting her with pop dots.
The snowflake trim is a scrap
and the poinsettia & leaf are from my
"Geez I've had these forever, I should use them"
stash!
(I know you all have one of these stashes!)
LOL
The red snowflake paper is from the
Saint Nick paper pk by Fancy Pants Designs.
The inside was stamped with a Christmas sentiment
and
I used up the scraps from the background paper on the front,
for a bit of embellishing.
Below you can see the tag removed from the card.....
I had cut little slits in the two opposite corners to tuck the tag in and keep it removable.
The diecut is another piece from my
"Geez I've had these forever, I should use them"
stash.....(it's a big stash)!
LOL
I backed it with another piece of the white card stock
and
stamped with the Joy sentiment.
Another look at the finished card/tag.....
Oh,
just a reminder...
Don't forget to check out Gecko Galz blog everyday in December!
(Dec 1st - 24th)
We are having our annual
24 Tags of Christmas!
Everyone in the DT has a tag to share and a tutorial on how they put it together!
Thank you for visiting me on this wonderful holiday weekend!
