Happy doodling

Hi everyone! 

As usual, 

it's been a while since my last blog post.

On the plus side, 

I am having a wonderful summer! 

Maybe, 

if I can get my act together, 

I will post some vacation pictures! 

Today I wanted to show you a journal page that I did recently.

So this started out, 

day 1,

with me simply playing with 3 paint colors that I dripped onto my page.

Didn't exactly have a plan but not sure I liked the results.

So, I thought why not add another, brighter, color!

In came the bright yellow dotted with my finger tip. 

Why not add some black too!

Pods and leaves!

Ok,

I don't like that! 

Let's try some bright pink in the pods and some bright green for the leaves! 

NOPE!

Don't like that either! 

What to do,

what to do! 

While trying to figure that out I got out a piece of sea sponge,

used it and an old credit card to use up some of the paint on my table.

And,

now I have another mess!

UGH!

Day 2

Ah hah,

book page! 

I"ll cut some to fit inside the pods and leaves! 

Yay,

I like that better but not quite there yet!

Day 3

I really don't like it so why not just doodle on it, 

what could it hurt?

Nothing!

That's right! 

No pain,          

             just gain! 

I like it now!

Doodles to the rescue!!!

Woo hoo! 

I'm so glad I didn't give up on it!

I think I have to add the word "Perseverance" to the page to finish it off!
