Card stash is growing.....

More cards to share
made from scrap stash papers!

Every so often I love to put my paper down slightly off center or crooked.
A couple of die cut pieces and a bit of twine to finish it off.

This one I used a piece of the same die cut doily from the card above it.

Below I wanted to change it up and do a different style card.

The image is an old piece from a Gecko Galz collage pack.

A couple of scrappy cards...

I've been collecting scraps for far too long!

I'm beginning to think there will never be a dent in my scraps drawers!

Here are a couple cards.....

Loving that lattice die cut.
The die was a Tuesday Mornings find!

When I got this feather flower I had no idea what I would do with it.
I think it looks perfect there don't you?

Scrappy Card

Good morning!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving here in the states!
I, as usual, ate more than I should have!
When it's that good you have to right?

Today I have a card that I put together with some of my scrap pile papers.

The flower die is from Spellbinders and the butterfly is a sticker

Happy Anniversary

Ok,
so I'm a bit late!

A month late!

But I was there in the moment!

Right on time!

And that's what counts right?

Here is the card I made for my husband for our anniversary.....
last month

The background paper is from my scrap drawer
and the together is from a
Heidi Swapp rub-on foil kit
First time using that,  it was fun and I love the result!

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Scarecrow card.....

Going through my stamp collections
the other day and came across an old set, from Close to My Heart,
that was given to me from my dear friend Pam.

The scarecrow was so cute I felt the need to stamp it on a piece of paper and color it.
Then, of course, I also needed to do the pumpkin too!

One thing led to another and I ended up with this card!

The background paper is one of my gelli plate playtime papers!
I used some gold and bronze so it's all shimmery!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Fall!

Christmas tags

I'm switching gears here
I've been on a card making roll for a while now and I've decided,
since I don't need any more Christmas cards,
and I'm good right now with everyday cards,
it's time for something else...

Christmas tags it is!

I dug through my old stash
and found these sweet snowmen
You can find them HERE along with a bunch of other cute
digi collage packs and papers

I also used a couple pieces of Christmas Candy & Polka dots paper also from My Artistic Adventures.

Below are close ups of these tags.

The embellishments are from punches or dies,
some perfect pearls, stickles, wink-of-stella, and pens.

The sentiment tags are a part of the Snowman collage set!

Are you ready for more Christmas cards?

Today I have some more Christmas cards that I made using the
gelli print papers I made.

The first one is another simple card
using stamps and embossing powder
as well as a bit of twine and ribbon.

Below I stamped the Joy wreath in red & added some red glittery gel pen as well as some green,
then fussy cut it,
mounting it with pop dots.
I added the die cut & snowflake punches
and finished with some bling.

Hope you're all ahead of the Christmas card game!
I can't believe I'm ahead!
No last minute scramble!
What am I going to do?

Christmas snowman tag

Good morning!

I have another tag today!

Most everything I used on this tag is from
the snowman,
and

Here is the tag.....

Isn't that background paper cute?
It comes in several Christmasy colors
and they print out nicely!
I know this because I got the pack last night and printed most of them out because I was so pleased with them!

The snowflakes are done with an old punch
and I added some sparkly sequins.

I believe the ribbon is from
although I could not find it to link to it directly.
I've had it in my stash for at least 2 yrs!

The red hole reinforcer was punched out of the same paper pack as the background.

I used distress ink
brushed corduroy
on the sentiment pieces and I used my white gel pen to add stitching around the edges.

Autumn Splendor tag

Good afternoon!

I know I already had a post go live this morning but I wanted to post a tag I made.

Over at Use Your Stuff
they have challenge #240 up
and it's called Fall Y'all

on Facebook
has it's November challenge up as well
(use leaves or trees)

and

Really Reasonable Ribbon
Has the Tag You're It with Ribbon or Trim
challenge #152 going

So I got out some fabric leaves that have been in my stash forever and decided to make this tag.

The background paper
(bottom tag)

The tag on top of that is from my scrap stash pile

The gold leaves stickers have been around for who knows how long!

And the ticket & turkey, as well as the bird, are also from My Artistic Adventures.

I added some trim and a bow from my scrap ribbon bowl.

Thanks for dropping in!
Have a wonderful day!

More Christmas cards

Yesterday I posted about my want to use up some old holiday papers
for my Christmas cards this year.

Well, not all plans work out the way you planned them.

In the midst of making them,
I stopped to play with my gelli plate.
Now, using my gelli plate I usually go on a whole different road
color wise
I don't know why that is but it's true.
However, I was just about finished playing and thought,
why not use some Christmasy colors!

So I did this...,,

That is a few of them
and
here is what I did with them.....

These two I used stamps, die cuts, punches, bling and embossing powders.

More stamping on these two!
I loved how the background paper came out on these...
kind of a plaid, wintery, flannel feel going on.
I also used more die cuts, punches, embossing powders and gold thread.

I loved the blue here and simply added some embossing in white and glitter for the snowflakes
and a sentiment stamped on a die cut.
And of course the pretty bow.

The last one here is simply stamping, die cut and ribbon.

Almost finished...
or am I?

Christmas is coming....

Ok,
so a little while back,
maybe mid to late summer,
I decided that I was going to get a jump on Christmas card making.

Not only that but I cut my card list
and decided I was going to get rid of scrap holiday papers that have been around for too long!

List and papers in hand off I went

Here are 5 of the cards I made...

A die (happy) and a stamp...easy peasy

These two cards (above & below) are actually greens, with white, pinks and marroonish

Another die and stamp,
along with my Perfect Layers ruler to make a pink border around the die.

This one, so far, is simply the paper, because it's so cute.
I may add a sentiment.

Papers and gold thread

Die cut, stamp, punch, papers, and bling.

Can't get much easier than that!
