Lamp for my daughters room....

Good morning everyone!

I want to show off the little candle lamp I put together for my daughter's room...

I bought the little pan and candle lamp from

I put a piece of floral foam inside the pan.
I cut a notch out of the top of the foam to set the candle inside a bit.
Then I added a bit of moss to cover it up.

I pinned the lamp down and used toothpicks instead of the plastic stems for the flowers and the leaves, to push into the foam.

I finished it off with a few little bows in the center of the leaves.

So easy!

Looks great in her purple room!

Happy Anniversary Card

Good morning everyone!

I have a Gecko Galz DT project to show you today!

I made this card for my brother & sister-in-laws wedding anniversary.

I started with this months Gecko Galz freebie paper.
After the winter we've had this bright yellow paper gave a boost to my winter mood...
hopes of spring & summer and bright sunshiny days!

The sweet couple image is from the
April Showers collage collection.
The little tag and the Roses image are from the
April Colors collage sheet.

The button is a chipboard button that I covered and added glossy accents to...then a bit of twine.

I used a new tool...
to make my mats.

The happy anniversary banner is from

I stamped the sentiment and added it on top of the banner.

I used pop dots to add the banner to the card and
a couple of I-rock gems to each end of the banner.

There is lace trim behind the images and the Prima floral spray.

My bow was made with my Bow-it-all...love that!

Below is another look at the finished piece...

Painted watering can.....

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying some spring weather!

Today I want to share with you a little rustic can I painted.
It was already looking pretty rustic when I bought it but I wanted to add a flower to it.

I am new to painting so this was scary and thrilling at the same time!

I was worried I would ruin the rustic look that I already loved!

I am pleased to say I love how it came out!
(patting myself on my back)

What do you think?

I think it looks great sitting in front of my altered tin I made last month.
If you missed the post on how I made that you can see it HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great weekend!
