Be Merry...

Good day to you!

I have another simple card.
I let the pattern papers be everything here.
I used a dotted frame die.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this die. I love the look but I don't like that those little dot bits get stuck in my die-cut machines plastic sheets (can't think of the name of them..lol) It is not fun trying to remove them!

The Be Merry die was painted gold with a Wink of Stella pen.
Easy peasy!

Thank you for stopping by!

Ornament shaker card...

Hello you!

I have to say I absolutely love how this card came out!
This was such a hit and miss project!
I can't tell you how many times I scrapped my attempts but boy was it worth all the work!

The idea for this card was from Helen on her YouTube channel here.

I don't know Helen and until I just went through my history and found her so I could add her link,
I didn't realize I wasn't even subscribed to her channel!
I am now!
She's got some beautiful card videos I want to check out!

Back to my card.
I used distress inks to make my background.
The snowy bit was made with an ink pad that was apparently sadly neglected.
It fell apart as I used it!

The ornaments and frames around them, were simply circle dies and
I added ornament topper die-cuts and bow die-cuts from another set of dies.
Lastly, I added some die-cut snowflakes.

I used glitter for the snow and although you can't see it there is a small amount glitter in the top ornament.
I lowered, my behind the scenes, framing on that one so I could add glitter but not have it look like there was a pile of snow stuck up in the sky.
When it is shaken there will be snow in the sky above!

Thank you for visiting!
Have a wonderful day!

Snowy Noel...

Hi everyone!

This card today was made with die-cuts and fussy cuts.
The packages are fussy cut and colored with alcohol inks.
The trees were stamped with a couple different distress inks on the stamp, then die cut.
and of course, there are the die-cut snow mounds.
Oh, and the noel die-cut!

Below I'm trying to show you the layers where I used dimensional foam
and
I didn't realize until now but you can see the texture on the patterned paper.
Don't you love when the paper has texture?

I appreciate the visit!
Have a great day!
