Playing with new Distress Oxide Inks

Woohoo,

I got lucky,

strolling through Michaels Sunday,

something I really didn't need to do,

and found the new distress oxide inks on sale,

buy one get one 50% off! 

Yay!

So during the Kraaft It Live show

I had the chance to play with them and made a couple of cards!

Added a little shimmer with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen,

on the sentiments and the cupcake's frosting.

Simple card

When I saw this bookish paper I had to make a card out of it.

I thought is would make a nice masculine card or a card for someone who likes books.

I made the oval frame with a couple of dies.

The ribbon, leaves, and button were in my stash.

The frame was popped up for dimension.

Thinking of you

I finally broke down and bought the vine wreath & flowers die.

I also bought the cutout die.

Using some old Graphic 45 papers I cut one for the background and one for the scalloped circle die I put behind the wreath & flowers.

I added some vellum flowers and butterfly from another new die set.

Finished off with the stamped sentiment on a fishtail die cut piece.
