Simple card

When I saw this bookish paper I had to make a card out of it.

I thought is would make a nice masculine card or a card for someone who likes books.

I made the oval frame with a couple of dies.

The ribbon, leaves, and button were in my stash.

The frame was popped up for dimension.

Thinking of you

I finally broke down and bought the vine wreath & flowers die.

I also bought the cutout die.

Using some old Graphic 45 papers I cut one for the background and one for the scalloped circle die I put behind the wreath & flowers.

I added some vellum flowers and butterfly from another new die set.

Finished off with the stamped sentiment on a fishtail die cut piece.

I'm using up some scraps for this card.

Once I got the fishtailed paper ribbons on the background I had a crazy time trying to figure out what to do next.

Finally, I decided to get out my scalloped dies and did a bunch of layering.

I tucked the lace ribbon behind the sentiment circle.
