Happiness...

Hey gang! 

I want to share my latest mixed media wall hanging.

I've done this on an 8 x 10 mdf board topped with book text.

I started out,

for whatever reason,

with colors I don't usually use.

I wanted something light.

Added all the colors through stencils.

After getting the colors down I topped it with some burnt umber.

Gotta have that aged/vintage look!

Layered a bunch of goodies that I printed out,

tags, stamp, buttons, flowers & quote that I stamped on bits of paper.

Doodled...

shadowed...

and paint spattered.

Once I hit #4 dot's seemed to take over.

I use a dot stencil,

then the comb marks ended up looking like dots.

Textbook shapes?

Yup, circles!

 Finished off with a dotted washi tape!

LOL

This afternoon I joined the Kraaft Shaak's

and saw one of my favorite artist's,

After the show I was inspired to do this page in my art journal.....
